Powertex

Powertex is an environmentally friendly, water-based medium that is relatively new to the Canadian art scene. It acts as a hardener for absorbent natural materials like textiles, paper or cardboard, for example. Once hardened, powertex is weather resistant, although a water-resistant varnish is applied to all pieces.
